Dr. Priscilla Madsen

Priscilla Madsen, MD, treats patients whose cancer may have consigned them to home. One of the interventional pulmonologist's patients was unable to turn in bed, due to shortness of breath. "That was several years ago. She recently learned to skydive."


About Dr. Madsen
 
One of only two physicians in Washington state trained in interventional pulmonology , Dr. Madsen helps cancer patients literally breath easier. The procedures she performs open airways that are blocked by tumors,  greatly improving the quality of patients' lives.
 
Dr. Madsen is a graduate of the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, Texas. After her residency at Virginia Mason Hospital in Seattle, Dr. Madsen went on to an Interventional fellowship from the University of California at San Diego and the Academic Hospital Free University of Brussels in Belgium. She also holds a Master's of Public Health from San Diego State University.
 
Dr. Madsen joined Group Health in 2006.
